$5,000 SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Uniforms by Logo Express (ULE) wants to empower students of color who wish to continue their education, but face the significant financial challenges of obtaining a college degree.
Students interested in entering the “Anything But Uniform” ULE 2022-2023 Scholarship Essay Contest must write a thoughtful, original essay on the following topic:
How have you perceived race and privilege
as an advantage or an obstacle
in your personal growth?
The contest is open to all middle school and high school students who will graduate as part of the Class of 2023 in a Greater New Orleans school managed by one of our official partners:

InspireNOLA Charter Schools
Collegiate Academies
ReNEW Schools
FirstLine Schools
Arise Schools
Élan Academy

Scholarship Essay Contest Details
→ All contest information is available, and essays must be submitted, at www.nolauniforms.com/scholarship
→ Essays should be 500-600 words, typed, and double spaced
→ Applicants must include the following information: full name; name of current school; grade level; email address; phone number; name(s) of potential college/university/high school
→ Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered
→ Non-renewable scholarships will be awarded based on participation and at the discretion of ULE
→ The contest is open to ULE student staff members as well
→ Your portion of the scholarship funds will be awarded as follows:
- Middle school student recipients will receive ULE gift cards (min $50)
- For high school senior recipients, ULE will issue checks (min $500) directly to each student’s chosen, accredited 2-year college program or 4-year university/college
Submission deadline: Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. CST
